The working principle and characteristics of gear oil pump

The gear pump is to work with two gears meshing with each other, and the requirement for the medium is not high. The general pressure is below 6MPa, and the flow rate is large.

The gear oil pump is equipped with a pair of rotary gears in the pump body, one active and one passive. Relying on the meshing of the two gears, the entire working chamber in the pump is divided into two independent parts. A is the suction chamber and B is the discharge chamber. When the gear oil pump is running, the driving gear drives the passive gear to rotate. When the gear is engaged to disengage, a partial vacuum is formed on the suction side (A), and the liquid is sucked in. The sucked liquid fills each tooth valley of the gear and brings it to the discharge side (B). When the gear enters the meshing, the liquid is squeezed out to form a high-pressure liquid and is discharged out of the pump through the pump discharge port.

Gear oil pump features:

1. Compact structure, easy to use and maintenance.

2. It has good self-priming, so it is not necessary to fill the liquid before opening the pump each time.

3. The lubrication of the gear oil pump is automatically achieved by the delivered liquid, so there is no need to add lubricating oil during daily work.

Gear pumps are widely used in petroleum, chemical, shipbuilding, electric power, grain and oil, food, medical, building materials, metallurgy and national defense research industries. The gear oil pump is suitable for conveying lubricating oil without solid particles and fibers, non-corrosive, temperature not higher than 150 ℃, viscosity of 5 ~ 1500cst or other liquids similar to lubricating oil. Try out all kinds of occasions that require heat preservation in outdoor installation and process in freezing and cold areas at room temperature.
